Very rarely do I do a cake that I absolutely just do not love, as I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. I have, however, had several that I just loved so much and would love to do over and over again.
The trout cake was a surprise I did for my husband's birthday. We both love to fish, but he eats, sleeps and dreams it. I took one of his (still packaged) top-water lures and put it in the fishes mouth. Needless to say, he was surprised and thrilled to see it.
With the bass cake and the Dora cake, I was really able to utilize my drawing and artistic abilities, which I love to do, and I think they came out really well.
Who doesn't love Hanna Montana? This is my second HM cake which has more of a pop star/rock 'n' roll feel. I love the colors and fun energy it gives off.
I did the black & white & lime green cake and cookies for a bridal shower. I think it all went so well together and looked really pretty.
Pink and black have really become popular for decorating. Allie's 1st b-day cake, which I was told looked like a wedding cake, turned out really cute, as did Kinslee's. I beleive that every one year old should have the best and biggest cake ever. Allie's cake was fit for a "Princess"!
The Jungle cake I am really proud of. I just love all the playful animals and the scene as a whole. What a great theme for a baby shower.
This "Hot Pink Taylor Swift" acoustic guitar was for a little girls birthday. She loves Taylor Swift and had to have a guitar cake. So cute.
This fireman's hat was done for a groom who works for a nearby fire dept. He was able to loan me his actual hat so I could replicate it as close as possilbe, minus the goggles, and had me put their wedding date on the shield.
